KARIN’S BIO
Karin, of German origin from southwest Germany, lives and works in Brussels. Trained in the social sciences and humanities, she works in the European field in a network of “global justice” NGOs where she is responsible for advocacy for the policies of the European institutions.

She has followed various photo training at the Atelier Contraste, and participated in several exhibitions: for example, in 2010 at the Goethe Institute in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, in 2012 at “The Summer of Photography” under the auspice of Bozar with “Inside Out, Upside Down”, in 2014, at the Parcours d’Artistes in St Gilles and in the exhibition “Ap(t)titude(s)” of the 20 years of the workshops Contraste à Tour & Taxis with “La foret est une ville comme les Autres”, thus in 2016 at the Faculty of Academy of Cambre with “Vegetable City”.
Karin works in photography to shape her research on philosophy and ecology. She is interested in organic matter and its contrast, the urban landscape, as well as the poetry of the interior landscapes, per se.
